Still Running

This week has been a very good week thus far. I am now in training mode for the Sept Harrisburg Half, and the OBX Marathon in November. The past couple of weeks has been a little less than par, but now that I am on an actual training plan ( first week), I seem to be more motivated. I (was) doing pretty good with my weight loss, but some things came up that sent me off track a little bit. Kidney stones plus working late plus bad diet plus little to no running equals poor motivation and weight accumulation. I haven't even had a chance to post anything or read with my mind preoccupied in the past 2 weeks. I still have about a half a dozen stones left to pass, but the Doctor cleared me to run. He even recommended it as it would loosen things up. I have had them before, but not associated with a trip to the ER. At least I know what to expect. I was wondering about 4 weeks ago why I did not have any energy? I know now. Hopefully, the rest will come out okay. I will list my weight Accountability below here. It's not pretty, but off to a new day, a new week, and a Training Program. I am motivated more than ever. I am still running.

This week, our Church (Cedar Hill Baptist Church) hosted the Herbster Ministries Sunday through Wednesday. Praise the Lord for a very good week of Revival, Praise and Glory. I didn't get any runs in until this morning, but that's okay, as my heart has been lifted. I would like to publicly take this opportunity to announce my faith in Christ Jesus, and a closer walk with God. There are a lot of things I can and need to work on, but I know that I can not do it alone. I must call upon the name of the Lord. I normally do not discuss other topics than running here, but I thought this is very important. I hope and pray that each of you reading this will think the same. Thank you for reading and God Bless!
