Unmotivated!

I just realized, I have not posted anything since May.  What happened in June?  simply put, I am unmotivated to run and I feel spent.  Though, last week, I did get a run in in Mass.  It wasn't in Boston, but close enough I guess.  (Westfield).  That's been about it in the last 2 weeks.  It's Monday, so I hope that I will feel some spark that will hopefully turn into a wild fire.  I can still do this.  I just have to get my motivation back.  Blahhhh!  THe first 5 weeks of training were good.  There is still enough time left for training for the half Marathon in Sept.  but I have already decided against any full marathons this year.  With that said, here's hoping to some sort of movement this week.

I completely understand! I'm kind of going through a slump, so I'm switching gears for strength training and maybe reignite the running fire. I hope you find your fire again.

I know, seriously, what happened to June? I'm relieved to see that I'm not the only blog-slacker but I'm not happy about your lack of motivation?!! What happened? Maybe you just need a red-hot ant bite!

Oh dear...I hope you've found that motivation again and back to the miles you so love! Hang in there. I think we all go through periods of needing some downtime...hoping yours was short-lived!

I love your visual for burnout. Quite apropos for the season too. There's a lot of others just like your right now, trying to get the feeling back. It'll come in due time.
