After some thought, I will not make any resolutions for the New Year when it comes to running. If I make resolutions and do not follow through, then I might be dissappointed. If I don't make any and just plug away, I just might surprise myself. I do, however, hope to improve in 2012 with speed, weight, and all those other things. I have a Marathon planned in May and a Half Marathon planned in September, so I hope to obtain 2 PBs in 2012. I have much hopes in 2012 for a very good year. I am also thinking about doing the Gateway Outer Banks Marathon in November. A chance for me to visit North Carolina and a 3rd PB. Whooohoooo! Speaking of NC, I really miss the weather there, the very mild winters, if you want to call it a winter. lol. So stepping into the New Year, I know what I must do to excel. Now I just have to do it. I had a lot of good memories in 2011 which will stay with me forever. Looking forward to a brighter and faster 2012. Ya'll take care, and have a Great New Years.

What do you visualize as you run? On long runs, my mind can wander very far sometimes, but on mid-distance tempo runs, I visualize just about anything that hauls BOOTY! Do you think that Visualization is a key element in Running? Does is help you?

I thought I would share with you a very cool album to run to, (Tron Legacy Reconfigured) as which the tempo varies through out the entire thing, giving your ears approximately one hour of listening pleasure. With some previous posts here, some of you might know that I have a thing for Tron. I really liked the movie and thought it was great. It isn't my favorite movie of all time, but it is up there. I was at Target the other day, and saw that they have a second album which is the original soundtrack remixed, so I grabbed it (last one) right away. Well, I always thought it would be really cool to run at night down my street in a Tron costume. From what I have seen, there are a few running outfits that are indicative of such. So to get to the main point, the music, I loved it and it is inspiring me to go. I have attached a youtube thing below so you can hear for yourself. If you do not like techno or electronic sounding music, you might not like. The artist in the first album is Daftpunk, and the second album (this one) done up by a host of artist, such as The Crystal Method, etc.. Hope you enjoy. Now, go RUN!!! Even if you choose not to run to it, it is great night time driving music.
